Ingredients
- Hooser Reserve Sliders
- Coarse salt and cracked black pepper

Method
- Take the patties out of the fridge 15 minutes early and press a shallow dimple in the center of each one so they do not dome up.
- Season both sides right before cooking, not before. Salt sitting on raw meat pulls moisture out.
- Get the grill or cast iron hot, around 450 degrees.
- Cook 4 minutes, flip once, then 3 to 4 more.
- Cheese on during the last minute with the lid down so it melts.
- Pull at 160 degrees and rest 3 minutes while you toast the buns.
Ranch tip: Press them once when they go on and then leave them alone. Every time you mash a burger with the spatula you squeeze the juice into the fire.

Cooking Tip:
Season with salt and pepper right before cooking. Hot griddle or cast iron, about 2 minutes per side for medium. Do not press them down with a spatula, that is where the juice escapes. Toast slider buns with butter and top with cheddar, pickles, and grilled onions.
