Cut from the chuck shoulder of our Hooser Reserve Angus, the Seven Roast (also called 7-bone or blade roast) gets its name from the slice of shoulder blade bone shaped like a “7” running through it. Heavy marbling, deep connective tissue, and that classic homestyle flavor that turns into the most tender, fall-apart pot roast you’ve ever had.

Cooking Tip:
Season heavy with salt & pepper. Sear all sides hard in a Dutch oven. Add onions, garlic, beef broth, and a splash of red wine. Cover and braise at 300°F for 3–4 hours, adding carrots and potatoes in the last 90 minutes. The bone falls right out when it’s done — that’s how you know.
